Birthday Booze Cruise

This past weekend was a lovely little reunion with my college gals :) We celebrated Catie's 24th birthday by purchasing booze cruise tickets for a little trip up & down the Chicago River. It was a chilly evening, but super fun! We had a great view of Navy Pier, and ended the evening with fireworks, before heading out to a Chicago bar to karaoke the night away!
Some pictures from our reunion & birthday celebration weekend:

I love that my friends make such a point to try to get together each year on separate occasions for everyone's birthday. I know it means a lot to me, and I wish I could see them twice as much!

I have to add a note to myself (& anyone willing to listen) don't fly American Eagle. So many absurd delays and there was zero communication about it! I had to reference the departures board for 3 different delays and 2 gate changes... with both my flight there and back!! Sheesh.

Sibs Weekend

This past weekend was a lot of fun! Melyssa, Erin, and I went to a Zach Deputy concert with a co-worker of ours. He's super great with music recommendations! Zach Deputy is a mix of techno with reggae ( I think that describes it? Check it outtt )

And I spent saturday and sunday at UD for sibs weekend visiting my brother! It was weird to be back but fun to hang out with my little bro! Weird being on campus and not knowing all my friends are a porch away... yet fun remember so many wonderful days spent there! We got pizza from Kramers and I found where my roommates and I carved "The Wedge" into the bench (the name of our house)  :)  Then sunday was spent wandering the oregon district for a street festival, which was cool because it was an aspect of Dayton I didn't experience while there.

Fancy Friends #2

I can't believe I didn't blog about my two fancy friends from UD making moves, designing, cooking, etc! Adam and Ed collaborated towards the end of senior year to make a fun, easy cookbook directed towards college kids! Ed, an amazing cook, prepared all the meals according to what he would normally cook for his 5 roommates, with 10 ingredients, and made the meals in under 30 minutes — hence the name! He also provided the recipes and copy for the book, while Adam photographed the dishes for the book and designed the lay-out!

Good work guys! I'm super proud of you — it looks amazing!!!!
So, you all need to check it out and by yourself one :)
