November

I love fall and especially November for various reasons...

1. It's my birthday on the 8th :)

2. The leaves change more in Nov. than October (I think)

2. Thanksgiving (yummy food!!!) & family fun

3. People start decorating for Christmas

4. Christmas is only a month away

Today I'm excited for my trip to California this weekend to visit my lovely cousins! Last time I went to visit Meghan for her birthday in January and this time I am treating myself to visit Kc in Sonoma (where she goes to school) for my birthdayy!!! Super excited!! :)

Oh yeah... and I REALLY WANT THESE FOR BIRTHDAY

Busy Weekend

Move in weekend was a success! Well, minus a few dirty blinds, and an unfinished bathroom. Other than that, I am so glad to be at the new place and aside from moving, it was an eventful weekend all around! My good friend Catie came up from Cinci to be my mom/boyfriend and help me move! I am so grateful for my friends... and this weekend I was especially grateful for her :) I also did a lot of things I wouldn't have done with out her there... like hanging a rod in my closet for extra clothes, thrifting some cheap frames and a table to spray paint, and eating at Bodega and Marcella's! Oh yeah — and I can't forget to mention the fall flea!! My first time at a flea market like that, with vintage clothes, little plants, and antiques. 
It was the perfect sunday afternoon.

Catie bought this awesome red scarf from my co-worker, Keli's booth! Super cute!

First time at Marcella's was delightful! We even got a seat next to the window... which I hear is very hard to come by there!

Cozy Day

Today I just feel like being cozy! I currently have an oversized sweater on trying to keep warm at work... yet all I wanna do is curl up on the couch with coffee/tea, chocolate, and a great movie! For one, I still don't have a couch in my apartment and two it's not raining or snowing or even a tad dreary outside! Why do I feel like this? Hmph. In my internet search looking for something to entertain me, I came across a delicious fudge recipe... maybe, just maybe this gave way to my longing of coziness! I must make these chocolates one evening and curl up on the couch with a few... now begins the couch search so that can happen!!!

DIY done

After reading this post a day or two ago, I was determined to make some sassy, sparkly shoes of my own! On my way home from work yesterday, I stopped and bought a pair of standard Walmart brand Vans look-a-likes, some glitter, and mod podge and had a little craft night with my roommate!

Welcome September

I love the beginning of fall SO MUCH!! As the weather turns to jeans and sweaters paired with a cup of hot coffee and yellow-orange leaves beneath your feet, I find it to be the most beautiful season out there! This fall is going to be especially memorable though; a lot of new beginnings and adventures are ahead of me! I am moving in October, not to a different city, but a new apartment in the Short North, which is the fun and active area of Columbus. On top of that, I am continuing to adjust to my big girl life and the working world at Victoria's Secret. I am so thankful and incredibly humbled to be where I am today — So cheers to the start of my favorite season :)
